About Me

Jenny Williams Coach

I’ve found my lane — and I love my work. The joy comes from never quite knowing where conversations will go, and from being continually surprised by people.

I don’t niche. I work across a diverse mix of industries and roles — from the diamonds in the prison service to the diamonds on a hand. This is intentional. Neutrality brings objectivity to my work and allows insights to travel between systems that might otherwise never speak to each other.

My work spans the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, as well as fast-scaling businesses. This breadth of experience continues to shape how I think, listen and work.

I work with senior leaders who care more about how they lead than the titles they hold — and who want to do the right thing by people and the business.

My business has grown by doing two things consistently: doing the very best for my clients, and continually challenging myself to keep learning and getting better. People tend to find me, and I value the trust that brings.

I get it. Before becoming a coach, I spent 17 years working at a senior level in marketing and sales, in the UK and globally — including as Creative Director at Nokia.

I also worked for organisations such as Mars Confectionery and News International, and as a consultant with L’Oréal, across cultures and systems that were markedly different in structure, pace and expectation.

This first-hand experience of senior roles and complex organisations means I understand the realities leaders and teams face — not just in theory, but from the inside. It allows the coaching to be grounded, relevant and attuned to the organisational context clients are navigating.

A Little More About Me

  • An avid reader in contrast to being a reluctant (but proud) author. I have learnt I write far more slowly than I speak and read.
  • ‘Home’ is near Middlesbrough; my ‘now home’ — to the ongoing frustration of my family — is London.
  • A music lover and the owner of my own stubborn rock star: Mr Weller, a Tibetan Terrier.
  • Enneagram Social Type 9 — eternal optimist, gatherer of people, and very much a work in progress.
  • Runner, Peloton obsessive, and yoga sceptic.
